Chipotle Fundraiser Coming Up Monday!
Let Chilpotle do dinner this coming Monday Night!
The PTO is partnering with Chipotle to raise money for Rice Lake.
Either show the flyer in the restaurant or use the code to order online
and Rice Lake will get 25% of the event sales!
It’s time to put on your artist hat and help us to design this year’s cover.
We are excited to see all your creativity as we design the “Picture This!” yearbook for 2024-2025!
All Rice Lake students are invited to design and enter their creation. Student Council will pick the entry that captures the “Picture This!” theme in the most creative and impactful way.
All entries must:
- Be on 8.5x11 inch white paper with a vertical orientation
- Include the words “Rice Lake Elementary” “Picture This!” and “2024-2025”
- Keep text 1 inch from the edge of the paper
- Be original student art/design/drawing
- Have the student’s name, grade, and teacher written in pencil on the back
- Be turned into the Rice Lake front office by Friday, November 1st.
Entries are due by Friday, November 1st.
Tips: Use bold colors! Use the whole page. Mix up your mediums! Try watercolor, crayon, color pencils, markers, ect.
Make sure to protect your creation by enclosing it in a large envelope or page protector. And of course, HAVE FUN!!!!
Many thanks from the Yearbook Committee

At the Scholastic Book Fair, kids can shop without cash thanks to eWallet, a digital payment account for purchases at the Fair. Family and friends contribute funds. Then kids choose their own books. It’s convenient, simple, and secure. Set one up today!

News from the Health Office
While at school, students may experience bathroom accidents, spills or get wet from playing outside, so It is good for students to have an extra set of clothes in their backpack.
We do have items that can be borrowed from the Nurse, but we are running low.
The nurses office is currently accepting donations of new or gently used clothing for students pre-k to 5th grade.
The PTO has also set up a wish list that you can purchase items from. If that is something you are interesed in, please click on the link below.

School Board hosts listening sessions
In ongoing efforts to gather feedback from stakeholders, the School Board is hosting quarterly Listening Sessions for the public. The sessions provide the opportunity for community members, staff, parents, and students to meet informally with board representatives and the superintendent to discuss topics in the schools.
Listening Sessions increase communication and engagement work that reflects the district’s commitment to excellence. Additional sessions to seek input/perspective on topics established by the Board would be scheduled as a special or additional Board Listening Session.
Listening sessions for the 2024-2025 school year:
September 23, December 2, February 10, and April 21. Sessions are held in the District Office Board Room from 5:30 pm-6:15 pm.
