Upcoming Events
Meet Your Counselor Lesson
The counselors will be introducing themselves to students with a "Meet Your School Counselor" lesson during the first few weeks of school. Students will get a chance to put a face with the name if they have not had the opportunity to meet us yet. During this lesson, we will introduce ourselves to our students and discuss the various ways we can serve them while they are at Dodgen!
New Student Group
Do you have a student who is new to Georgia or new to Cobb County? The Counseling Department will be hosting a "New to Dodgen" group starting in September to help our new students feel connected to Dodgen and have the chance to meet their fellow peers who are also new.
We will begin sending out invitations for this group in the next coming weeks. Please be on the lookout for an invitation if your student is new to Dodgen this school year!
Parent Ed. Series
Dodgen hosts various virtual parent education workshops throughout the year to help educate and collaborate with our guardians. Our first Parent Ed. Series is titled "Thriving at Dodgen", and will focus on helpful interventions, information, and resources to help your child be successful in middle school. More information on when the virtual event will take place is coming soon!
