Freshman Orientation
FRESHMEN ORIENTATION
FHS will hold Freshmen Orientation Days on Tuesday, August 2 for students with last names beginning A-L and Wednesday, August 3 for students with last names M-Z. Freshmen Orientation will be held from 1-4 on both days in Bulldog Arena for all of our incoming 9th graders. These are student only events, so parents should drop students off at school and pick them up at the conclusion of the orientation. For your convenience, these orientations are being held in conjunction with Bulldog Blitz so you only have to come up to the high school once. During Freshmen Orientation, students will tour the building and participate in activities to help them acclimate to Fayetteville High School.
Freshman students can attend Bulldog Blitz either before freshman orientation or after orientation has finished at 4:00pm each day.

Join FHS Parent, Teacher, Student Organization
Please join us as part of the FHS Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO). We are a volunteer group that works with parents, staff and students to promote education and create a positive connected community. In order to be effective, we need the support and involvement of the parents and guardians of our students. The best way to show your support is to become a member! Your membership provides funding for programs that would not otherwise be available. In addition to joining PTSO, please consider donating to our special programs, such as Student Outreach (for students in need), Faculty Hospitality (to keep our staff fed and support special events), or Faculty Grants (for funding of worthwhile projects and materials to enhance FHS educational programs). Information on joining FHS PTSO can be found HERE.
