The purpose Title IV subpart 1 is to improve students’ academic achievement by increasing the capacity to; provide all students with access to a well-rounded education; improve school conditions for student learning; and improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students.
Migrant Education Program
The purpose of the Migrant Education Program (MEP) is to support the state and local programs that meet the special educational needs of the migratory children of farmworkers (including migratory daily workers and fishermen as identified in the district). Migrant funded districts are trained in the areas of concern as identified by the U.S. Office of Migrant Education (OME), which include:
- Educational Continuity
- Instructional Time
- School Engagement
- Educational Support in the Home
- Health
- Access to Services
