Greetings Phalen Virtual Leadership Academy Families,
Happy Friday! What an amazing week 39 here at Phalen Virtual Leadership Academy! Can you believe it is already the month of May? Hopefully all the April rain showers bring forth May flowers and more consistent weather.
Next week is a VERY important week!!! It is NATIONAL TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!! We are beyond blessed to have the BEST teachers in the state of Indiana here at Phalen Virtual Leadership Academy. Wouldn't you agree? So, we are honoring them every day next week, May 6-10, 2024 We would like to encourage you to do the same! I am sharing a list of what we are doing to honor them so you can join us. A special e-mail, text message, emailed gift card, a digital drawing, a virtual greeting card, a recorded message, a phone call or anything you feel will help our teachers feel some extra love and appreciation is welcome and encouraged for you to share with them.
We are nearing the finish line for the conclusion of the 23-24 academic year. We have 14 academic school days until the end of semester and the last day of school for scholars. It is extremely important that your scholar is present and active as we push through TOGETHER to the finish line. We want and need ALL scholars to FINISH STRONG!
Registration is limited and we want to ensure your scholar is signed up for Summer Advantage. We offer a FREE summer learning program that keeps scholars engaged this summer and having fun while learning. Please do not miss this free opportunity. Please be sure to check your email and ensure you have completed the intent to return form for your scholar(s) to ensure we have a seat next school year for everyone currently enrolled.
