Greetings MCS Families,
This week our 5th and 6th grade students were in McCall for MOSS (McCall Outdoor Science School). MOSS allows students to learn by immersing themselves in nature while exploring the science of ecology. It is operated by the U of I and its partners use MOSS to foster scientific literacy, leadership skills and open-minded dialogue. A huge thanks to Mr. Collins, our 6th grade teacher, and Ms. Hylton, our 5th grade teacher, who took our students. We also wanted to thank the parents who volunteered their time to help chaperone this trip!
I would like to thank everyone that came to conferences last Friday. Attendance was at an all time high and it was such a great time for parents and teachers to check in on student growth. The staff would also like to thank the parents that brought food and snacks for them in between conferences. We have a wonderful PAT and great families.
Last night, Mrs. Warzyn and I attended the University of Idaho job fair in hopes of filling our middle school ELA position.We left feeling very positive and we believe that we will have a wonderful selection to choose from as we look to fill this position.
