Greetings, Colonel Richardson Middle School families!

As we approach the end of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress our students have made, particularly in English Language Arts (ELA) and Math. This year has been marked by significant academic gains, with students demonstrating impressive growth in their reading, writing, and mathematical skills. Our dedicated teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to provide high-quality instruction and support, and it is evident in the remarkable growth that so many of our students achieved.

We are also thrilled to share the positive impact of adding a Community School Coordinator to our team. This role has been instrumental in fostering a stronger sense of community and connection within our school. Additionally, the funds allocated for organizing student incentives have been put to excellent use, motivating and encouraging our students to strive for excellence in their academic and personal endeavors.

One of our primary focuses this year has been raising attendance, and I am pleased to report that our efforts have been successful. Regular attendance is crucial for academic success, and we appreciate your partnership in ensuring that our students are present and engaged in their learning.

As we enter the final 7.5 days of the school year, we are committed to providing opportunities for students and staff to interact in meaningful ways. Our goal is to close out the school year on a powerful note, celebrating our collective accomplishments and setting the stage for continued success in the future.

Please check for communication about your student's overdue library books, intentionally damaged technology, and/or any other types of obligations for lost or damaged school items.

With this being the last full week of school, students need to work as hard as possible to finish the school year strong!

2. Last day to pick up any meds that are stored in the Nurse's office is 6/13. If they are not picked up by this date they will be disposed of. Please make arrangements for pickup.

3. Reminder 6th grade students need the TDAP and meningitis shot before they can start next school year. Please have your Doctor fax over verification once it is done. There will be two clinics held this summer to receive them, if your Doctors office is too busy.
