Election Day at Little Miami Elementary School - Skittles vs. M&M's!
It was a close race for the election of M&M’s vs skittles at LMES. The popular vote has been counted and the winner with less than a 100 vote difference is M&M’s!!!
The students and staff at LMES have spoken. The Electoral College has submitted their vote. The students colored their own electoral college USA map as the results from each state were announced. In the end, the votes were counted and M&M’s won the vote! Congratulations to M&M’s on a well run campaign.
Helping Hurricane Victims
LMES 5th grader Braxton Trent has spent the past few days volunteering in an area in North Carolina where part of the community was flooded from Hurricane Helene. Brax and his Grandpa removed all the metal duct work from an elderly woman’s house yesterday. Many of these people are still without electricity. We are so proud of Braxton for showing his selflessness in service to others. It’s a great day to be a Panther!!

Imagination Library - ENROLL TODAY
DID YOU KNOW? By the age of three, a child’s brain is already 80% developed, and, by the time a child enters kindergarten, they must already know thousands of words in order to succeed in the classroom. Reading aloud to a child and giving them access to books is the best way to ensure they are prepared to enter kindergarten.
The Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library wants to start a new chapter in early childhood literacy throughout Ohio by providing families with books. With the goal of preparing students entering Kindergarten for success in the classroom, the Imagination Library program will send a customized book to your child each month from birth until age five. Sign up is easy and FREE! Give your Panther the gift of reading & enroll today.
