I am happy to announce to that the PTO Walkathon reached its fundraising goals! This ensures that our students will continue to take field trips during the coming year. Many thanks to all who organized, fundraised, donated, and volunteered!

Here's another huge thank you to everyone who supported the Fairview PTO as they provided food for teachers during parent / teacher conferences. It was greatly appreciated!

On Monday, Nov. 11th we will be honoring our nation’s veterans with an assembly in the gymnasium at 10:30. We invite families and community members to join us. Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and/or blue that day.

Any weather-related school closings, delays, cancellations, etc., will be posted on our Cancellations webpage. If you would like to receive a text message, please sign up for Skylerts.

· 5th-Grade Fall Concert: 7pm Thursday Nov. 21 in Riverview Auditorium; free admission

Hall/Track Walking at PHS

Families and other community members can walk the PHS hallways and indoor track on school days this winter!

Before school:

• Track: 5:30-7am Nov. 4-March 21

After school:

• Track: 4-7pm (4-6pm Fridays) Nov. 4-March 21

• Halls: 3-8pm (3-6pm Fridays) Nov. 4-April 25

Park in the visitor lot in front of the addition or in the student lot south of the building and enter Door 18 (Community Ed & Rec/District entrance). No fee, but please sign the roster located outside the Fitness Center each visit.

All sorts of accidents happen in elementary school. Please be sure that your child has fresh pants, shirt, socks, and underwear available for them at school if needed.

All families should keep the following current in Skyward Family Access, as that is the primary way the district and schools communicate important information:

• Email address: For most communications from teachers, schools, and district

• Mobile phone number: For urgent text messages (instructions for signing up for text alerts via Skylert)

My name is Nick O'Malley. I was born and raised in Plymouth, and benefitted personally from attending Plymouth Schools.
