Welcome from DFHS Principal Dr. Gerald Gary
Dear Students and Families,
I hope this message finds you all well and rejuvenated after a restful summer break. As we begin a new school year, I want to extend a warm welcome back to each of you.
Our faculty and staff have been busy preparing for your return and are excited to have you back on campus. The life has definitely returned to the building, and we are looking forward to keeping the energy going as we have another fantastic year!
Parents, I encourage you to stay involved and connected with our school community. Your support makes a significant difference in our students' educational experiences. Together, we can build a strong foundation for a successful year ahead.
Letβs make this year memorable, filled with learning, friendships, and achievements. I look forward to seeing all of you at our upcoming events!
With Fox Pride,
Geald E. Gary, Ed.D.

Arrival and Departure
Car Rider Line
Students may be dropped off after 7:45 a.m. At 8:05 students will be released from the Commons and cafeteria to go to their classrooms. The tardy bell rings at 8:20.
If you are using the car rider line, please see the picture above and follow the red line. Please use car rider etiquette and pull forward as far as possible. As soon as you stop along any of the sidewalk, your student should exit the vehicle. An administrator will be on duty to show new students where to enter the building.
Parents, you may also use the lower parking lot beside the car rider line as long as you drop off your child at the crosswalk. Students must use the stairs and crosswalk. There are no drop offs at the stop sign. Also, there are no drop offs in the front of the school, in the student parking lot, or by the tennis courts. Safety is our number one concern. We look forward to seeing you soon!
