New Office Staff - Please welcome Alida Steele
We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to our new Administrative Assistant, Alida Steele. Alida has a background in education and in addition to her role as Administrative Assistant, she is also joining our community as an Educational Assistant.

Alberta Health Services forms: return to office asap
If you've received any AHS forms for your students, please return them to the office as soon as possible. Dental Hygeinists will be at the school for Kindergarten, Grades 1 & 2 on October 15th. Immunizations for Grades 6 & 9 will be on October 23rd
Bashaw School is in need of volunteers to help with the following
Breakfast program - The Breakfast program will be starting up again this month. Please call the office for information on how you can help. More information will follow once we are prepared to launch the program.
Fun Lunch program - This program organizes a special lunch students can order from a pre-determined outside source a few times a year. In order for this program to run we need:
- A parent volunteer to co-ordinate the orders - training will be provided
- A few parents to help each time receive and deliver the food to students
Both these programs are very much needed and appreciated by the students in the school.

Jr. Girls (Gr. 6 & 7) Practices are Monday & Thursday 3:30pm - 5pm
Grade 8/9 Girls practices are Monday & Thursday 3:30pm - 5pm
Jr. Boys practices are Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30pm - 5pm
October 4th- Jr. Girls in Daysland, Jr. Boys in Killam, leaving at 2 PM
October 5th- Junior Developmental Girls Home tournament 9-6 PM
October 7th- Jr. V-Ball at OLMP at 5:30 PM
October 9th- Jr. V-Ball at Bawlf at 5:30 PM
October 16th- Jr. Volleyball home game against Hay Lakes at 5:30 PM
October 18th- 19th- Senior Girls Volleyball Home Tournament
October 23rd- Jr/Sr volleyball team meeting at 3:45 PM
October 23rd- Jr V-Ball at home vs. CCHS at 5:30 PM
October 25-26th- Jr. V-Ball Home tournament
October 25-26th- Sr. V-Ball Tournament in Forestburg
Cross Country
