District 113 Listening Session Tonight: One Last Reminder
The District 113 Board of Education is considering options for addressing financial and facilities needs in light of declining student enrollment. A listening Session to provide input to the Board will be held tonight, Tuesday, October 19 at Deerfield High School. The tour will begin in the Auditorium at 6 p.m. and the Listening Session will begin in the Auditorium at 7 p.m. The Listening Session portion of the meeting will be streamed and recorded.

Save The Date: Workshop Geared Towards Parents/Guardians
DPS 109 is excited to announce that, in partnership with PPS 109 (our parent and educator partnership supporting the district community) we will be hosting a series of parent/guardian/community workshops this school year.
We will be kicking off this series next Monday, October 25th, with a one-hour Zoom webinar hosted by Dr. Doug Bolton entitled “Parenting Through COVID: Understanding & Coping With The Stress.”
The webinar begins at 7 p.m. No sign-up is required ahead of time, and the session will be recorded and distributed in the next 109 News for anyone that cannot attend.
Look for a more detailed description of the event as well as more information about PPS 109 in the newsletter you receive from your principal this Friday.
Community: The Anti-Drug October Newsletter
