This is a newsletter about the eTwinning project Eu eco news Agency. The main focus of the project was creating ecological podcasts and spreading the word all around Europe! The partners cooperating in this project come from different European countries and they are the following:

The CEIP Camino de la Villa is a preschool and primary education center, preferably for students with some motor disability.
The center works on a project-based line. From sustainability and the environment to equality, libraries, new technologies, radio or health.
It currently has 300 students between the ages of 3 and 12.

Earth.org activity as Dissemination
Students take part in an earth.org activity. They draw a picture or create a poster and submit it to the organization.
3rd Junior High School Echedoros Sumissions - Earth.OrgKids
the students visited the area of the Echedoros river which is located in the wider area of their school, in order to get to know up close the responsibility of man towards the environment. They also visited the "Action for Wildlife" Protection center to learn about its action, but also to release two birds into their natural environment, the care and treatment of which they had undertaken by covering the corresponding costs
3rd High School Echedoros Greece "The story of our hyacinths"
Description
The students at the beginning of spring "Adopted" a pot of hyacinths. They watered it daily and photographed it to observe its growth, until the pot ran out of flowers. They enhanced the photos by creating a video.

Students of the 6th grade from our school, participated in the call issued by Earth.org and submitted two drawings of Diomedes Gardens in Dafni, Athens Greece. The rock garden created in our school was also submitted as an ecological activity.

CEIP Camino de la Villa participated in an activity as part of the "Guardians of Life" project. The students, guided by the Domitila Hernández Association and Terramare Medioambiente, conducted a coastal cleanup and a bird-watching hike. They learned about waste management and biodiversity, making a positive impact on the environment. We thank both associations for enriching this educational experience.

Podcast 2 -Describe a place of Natural Interest in the local area
Each partner created in-school groups and produced this Podcast which describes a place of natural interest in the local area of the partners.
Podcast 3 / Mixed school Teams
A forum was opened according to which teachers presented their suggestions on the topics of podcasts to be discussed throughout the project. Five Topics were provided for partner schools which can be found in Environment - European Commission (europa.eu) in order to create Podcast 3 and choose one topic from the list, which is a mixed-school Podcast. The issue of biodiversity was also suggested for partners.
Partners organized a podcast and created mixed-school teams. Teams cooperated in creating a podcast together and all partnering schools participated in the creation of the Podcast, the scripts, the presentation and the editing process.
Mixed School teams/Team 1
Four teams, with students from 4 countries (Greece: Echedoros, France: Lannion, Spain: Barcelone and Turkiye: Konya) in each team, were created. In each team, students searched for information, shared ideas and wrote together a podcast script to explain "Why biodiversity loss a big problem". The most complete script writing was then recorded as a podcast and published on the European school radio.

Four teams were composed of students from different countries and they took on all the necessary roles to create a podcast, each created their own podcast with which they answered the question "Why biodiversity loss is a big problem."

Four teams were created which cooperated to connect the various parts of the Podcast and produce one Podcast related to Forest Fires Monitoring. Forest fires in Greece and Spain and ways to prevent them. Students from Greece and Spain cooperated and took on the roles of script writers, researchers, data analysts, journalists, presenters, and editors in order to produce the Podcast!

Podcast part 3/ about forest monitoring : Simple steps for teenagers and adults to help prevent forest fires on the island of Lemnos (get informed-put out cigarettes-collect rubbish-create empty spaces around forest).

Award
Awarding students at Bravo schools 2024: The aim of the competition, in which Junior High School of Moudros participated, is to inform and activate students about the concepts of individual and global responsibility. Our students were awarded for their work in the eTwinning project EU Econews agency.
