• La salida desde la Puerta #3 regresa al salón de la banda esta semana.

• La fila del almuerzo para los estudiantes de 1º y 2º grado avanza muy lentamente porque la mayoría de los estudiantes no conocen su número estudiantil (número de almuerzo). Además, los estudiantes quieren comprar refrigerios , haciendo que la fila sea aún más lenta. A partir del lunes 18/11, la cafetería SOLO venderá refrigerios a los estudiantes que tengan memorizados su número estudiantil. Si su hijao/ no se los sabe, no se le permitirá comprar refrigerios en la cafetería. Por favor trabaje con sus hijos para memorizar su número.

• El horario de llegada por la mañana es una gran oportunidad para que los estudiantes promuevan el desarrollo de la alfabetización. A partir del lunes, 18/11 se espera que todos los estudiantes traigan un libro a la escuela en su mochila. Cuando los estudiantes terminen con su desayuno, sacarán su libro y pasarán el resto del tiempo del desayuno leyendo su libro. Los estudiantes que opten por no desayunar comenzarán inmediatamente a leer su libro hasta que el maestro venga a recoger la clase a las 7:45 am.

• Todos los visitantes deben mostrar una identificación con fotografía antes de ingresar al edificio escolar. Por favor no venga a la escuela sin una identificación con fotografía. Las fotografías de su teléfono con el niño/a no constituyen una identificación con fotografía válida. Siempre se requerirá una identificación con fotografía para ingresar al edificio de la escuela y para verificar que la persona esté autorizada a recoger al estudiante. A continuación se muestran ejemplos de identificación con fotografía válida.
  

• Our walk up dismissal from Door #3 dismissal returns to the band hall this week.

  
  

• The lunch line for 1st and 2nd grade students moves very slowly because the majority of students do not know their Student ID (lunch number). Additionally, students want to purchase snacks slowing down the line even more. Effective Monday 11/18 the cafeteria will ONLY sell snacks to students who have their ID numbers memorized. If your child does not know his/her number, they will not be allowed to purchase snacks from the cafeteria. Please work with your children to memorize their number.

• The morning arrival time is a great opportunity for students to promote literacy development. Beginning Monday, 11/18, all students are expected to bring a book to school in their back pack. When students are finished with their breakfast, they will take out their book and spend the remainder of breakfast time reading their book. Student who choose not to eat breakfast will immediately begin reading their book until the teacher comes to collect the class at 7:45 am.

• All visitors must show picture ID before entering the school building. Please do not come to the campus without a picture identification. Pictures from your phone with the child does not constitute a valid picture identification. Picture identification will always be required to enter the school building and to verify that the individual is authorized to pick-up a child. Below are examples of valid picture identification.

La misión de 1882 Partnership es adoptar la identidad de servicio hispano de UTSA transformando 1882 Community Lab Schools en un programa escolar modelo nacional de dos idiomas donde cada estudiante, maestro, maestro clínico y educador trabaja para lograr altos niveles de rendimiento, alfabetización bilingüe y bilingüismo, y una fuerte competencia global para contribuir a una sociedad multicultural y una economía global.
