📆 2025-26 Academic Calendar Survey
*DATE EXTENDED* The 2025-26 Academic Calendar Survey is available for feedback!
As we plan for the 2025-2026 school year, we value your input in shaping an academic calendar that meets the needs of our students, families, and staff. Pflugerville ISD strives to create a balanced and thoughtful calendar that supports high-quality instruction, considers family schedules, and accommodates important holidays and professional development for our educators.
The proposed calendar options were thoughtfully developed by the District Academic Advisory Council (DAAC), a group of parents, staff, and community members who work collaboratively to ensure the calendar reflects our district's diverse needs. Learn more about how the calendar is created and approved.
The DAAC presents two (2) 25-26 calendars, Draft 1 and Draft 2, for your consideration and feedback. Below are the two drafts and a side-by-side comparison of the two options. After reviewing the calendars, please take a few minutes to complete this survey and ensure your voice is considered.
Th survey deadline has been extended! The survey will remain open until Feb. 10, 2025.

Pharmacy Savings Available to YOU!
Specialty medications can cost a lot of money. That’s why your plan offers programs called SaveOnSP and ImpaxRX.
These programs provide over 300 specialty medications at no cost to you!
Conditions covered include, but not limited to:
- Hepatitis C
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Psoriasis
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Cancer
Here’s an example of how it works:
John’s taking a specialty medication that’s eligible for the SaveOnSP
program. His copay is currently $70. His new cost share will be $1,150.
- When he participates in SaveOnSP, he won’t pay anything ($0) out-of-pocket. He will work with SaveOnSP to enroll with the applicable manufacturer copay assistance program.
- If he decides not to participate in SaveOnSP, he’ll pay his full cost share of $1,150 out-of-pocket.
In both of these examples, John’s cost share wouldn’t count toward his deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.

👏 Pfamily Kudos
· Leah Keese of Science 6th grade (via Diana Glynn (Daniel’s mom)): Thank you, Ms. Keese for the beautiful gift that my son made on your class. You didn’t have to do that, but it brought back an elementary moment and was so thoughtful! Have a beautiful break!
· Hellen Barczi, and HHS Student Council of Hendrickson High School (via Christina Griffin): Hellen and the student council are such a joy to work with each year as we plan for the Adopt-a-Child event! This year I got to see firsthand some of the smaller kiddos who were able to participate in this event, and watch how the high school students interacted with them. Everyone seemed to have such a fantastic time during this season of giving, and it really made my heart so happy! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this tradition each year, and for the gifts of appreciation given to the drivers for this event. It means so much to us!!
· Tammy Morrison and Kelby Millhouse of 2nd Grade Northwest Elementary (via Mr. W): Morrison and Millhouse, I want to express my deepest gratitude to both of you for being such amazing, welcoming, and accommodating teachers. The way you have embraced my student from the Essential Academics classroom and made him feel like a valued member of your classrooms during inclusion times is truly remarkable. You both go above and beyond to make learning fun and engaging, always ready to offer the support he needs. Your dedication and patience ensure that he not only learns but also feels confident and included in all activities. It’s clear that you both care deeply about his success, and I’m incredibly grateful for the positive impact you’ve had on his experience in your classrooms. Thank you for making such a difference!
· Michelle Jaramillo of Weiss/Sped Department (via Zack Krasuk): Michelle is always so positive, she always lifts up people's mood. She's also always available to help in any way. She is an exceptional teacher.
· Stacie Myers of Transportation (via Michael Nave): I recently had to renew my TEA Bus Driver card and Stacie was extremely helpful in getting me registered and tested. The entire process was smooth thanks to her prompt, efficient, and helpful assistance. She's awesome.
· Christina Griffin of Transportation (via Michael Nave): Christina is so accommodating and prompt in helping us with our athletic trips. I sent her a request in an email on a Saturday of Christmas break about an overnight trip we had coming on on Jan. 1st and she responded in minutes with all the help I needed along with valuable information for the upcoming trip. While her job is extremely difficult, her dedication and helpfulness goes above and beyond. We really appreciate her.
· Irene Hernandez and Lily Dominguez of PHS Sr. Exec Admin Associate & Counselor (via Michael Nave): During our staff Christmas luncheon on the last day of the semester, I had to leave during that time to go get a bus for a soccer trip. I asked Irene if there would be any leftovers for me to eat when I got back. Instead of telling me yes, she and Lily Dominguez prepared me a plate that was waiting on me when I returned. Ms. Dominguez even went and got me a tea as I sat down to eat. I know how busy both of them were on that day so I really appreciate the fact that they took the time to make sure I had a meal. Thanks!
· Mr. George Binger of PHS/Special Ed. Dept. (via Miguel Henriquez): For being there when there's a situation with the students. Mr. Binger is the one to call. The students respect and listen to him. He gets the job done. Mr. George Binger deserves recognition with a Pflugerville High School Award.
· Lara Raesz and Chris Lockamy of Timmerman ES (via Anonymous): This is a fun and hardworking admin team! Thanks for all you do!
· Leslie Vazquez of RIojas (via DP): Has been a great supporter to campus with a positive stride in high and low days.
Thank you
