Welcome:
Letter From The CEO:
Welcome to summer at the Berthoud Library! We have a lot going on, so we’ll get right to it.
Everyone, from birth to old age, has the opportunity to participate in our Summer Learning Initiative! Kids and teens can either track their reading or create projects, and adults get to track their reading too, all to earn prizes or drawing tickets. See Miss Christy or the people at the front desk to learn how to register.
Family Events are happening all through June and July on Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. Magicians, dancers, musicians, scientists and more are all coming just for you. Since we usually draw a big crowd, those weekly events will be held at New Freedom Outreach Center at 250 Mountain Ave. They have space, air conditioning, and a large parking lot in the back, so everyone can attend. No registration is required for Wednesday events.
Teen/Tween Events are happening every Thursday at 2:00 p.m., including everything from art projects to science projects to an escape room. The teen events are happening at the library, and we do need you to register so we know we have enough supplies each week for everyone.
See further down this email for the full line-up of events.
Storytime continues every Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the library. Miss Christy is also offering a Low-Sensory Storytime after hours on Saturdays at 4:00. If that is something you think will work for your child, register with Miss Christy—we’re keeping the Saturday group deliberately small.
If you have any questions about what’s happening this summer, ask us! Otherwise, happy reading, and we’ll see you when you’re turning in your reading logs.
Amie P.
Library CEO

Summer Learning Program
Welcome!
You may also come into the Library to pick up a booklet!
Register
Signing up is simple! You can come in to the library to register, or fill out our online registration form. When your child/teen registers they have the option to pick a book off of the bookshelves in front of Miss Christy's desk. So if you register online, make sure to still come into the library so they can pick out a book.
Please fill out a form for every child/teen participating.
