Indian Peaks Elementary: Moose News

We had a wonderful time with our families at Friday morning's Cafecito! We had a visitor from our Preschool Department come to share the importance of Early Childhood Education, its impact on future school success, and the process for registering for Preschool in St. Vrain. After that, we spent time celebrating and building community with our families. Thank you to all of our parents who attended!

Starting in the 2025-2026 school year, St. Vrain Valley Schools will offer five-day-a-week preschool programs. Families can explore a variety of high-quality preschool options tailored to meet families’ unique needs, including half-day morning and afternoon sessions, with full-day programs available at select locations. Registration for the upcoming school year begins on December 17.

Students have been working hard this week on Mid-Year testing and are showing great strides in their growth in reading and math! We will continue our assessments next week and look forward to sharing their progress with families after Winter Break.

Indian Peaks, Sunset Middle School and Niwot High School Mariachi students will be performing at Niwot High School on Wednesday, December 11th at 6:00pm. Please join us to celebrate our Mariachi students!

Our school is celebrating “The 12 Days of Jingle” by dressing to a theme each day.

Next Week’s Themes are:

Monday: "Sweatin; for Sweets:" Wear your "Wellness Gear" and get reading to MOVE!

Tuesday: "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow:" Wear white!

Wednesday: "Frosty the Snowman:" Wear your favorite scarf and/or hat!

Thursday: "Over the River and Through the Woods:" Top your head with something festive!

Friday: "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer:" Wear something that lights up or wear BRIGHT COLORS!

A reminder that Winter Break starts Friday, December 20th. Students return to school on Tuesday, January 7th.
