Notices for amended Library of Rhode Island (LORI) Standards and Regulations were posted on October 1, 2019. All interested parties are invited to request additional information or submit written or oral comments.
The RI Office of Library & Information Services, along with the RI Library Association, Cornucopia of RI, and the URI Graduate School of Library & Information Services, held a day long Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Summit on August 7 at the University of Rhode Island's Carothers Library. The purpose of the day was for library staff to come together for a statewide conversation about how to embed equity, diversity & inclusion practices into library services, programs, collections, and work culture.
