Golddigger/Duster Families,
I do not know about you, but I blinked and it was December! I have enjoyed my time at Clear Creek this semester and we have some really great things happening here at our school! I am excited for the future and what is to come.
With that being said, I want to take a moment to invite you to our upcoming Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) meeting on Wednesday December 11th at 5pm in the Library/Media Center. Your involvement is crucial as we discuss important matters that affect our students' education and well-being. One of the key topics on our agenda will be the proposed schedule drop for the 25-26 school year. This change aims to increase instructional minutes and provide greater structure and stability for our students, which we believe will enhance their learning experience. Your feedback and insights during this meeting will be invaluable as we strive to create the best possible environment for our children.
Additionally, I would like to remind you to review the semester exam schedule for next week. Please note that early finals will not be permitted; however, students will have the opportunity to make them up during the week we return or on Friday, January 10th. To minimize disruptions during this critical time, students will not be allowed to check out during exams. They may check out during passing periods or when they do not have an exam.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at the PTO meeting and hearing your thoughts on the proposed schedule.

Important Update - Cell Phone Policy
Cellphones are a great way to communicate with your student, however, please know that we cannot excuse your student from class unless the front office sends a pass for them. Also, if you have something urgent that you need to communicate with your student, calling the office is one of the best ways to do so. This way, the school can help in an emergency and we can make sure your student gets the message. Students are using their parents as a reason for needing to use their phone in class, so we wanted you to be aware that if your student does not answer your text or phone call immediately, it means they are focused on their school work. Thank you for partnering with us on this issue.
