This Week at Windsor...
#WEAREWINDSOR
May 20th, 2022
Last weekend our Special Olympic athlete competed at Prospect High School for the Spring Games! They did a fantastic job! Congrats to the athletes and coaches for a successful track and field season! On Wednesday, our 5th-grade chorus performed. The students were truly having fun and so was the audience! Thank you to Mrs. Ziemann and Mr. Gember for their combined effort to put this together. On Thursday, we practiced our final fire drill of the school year, the students moved quickly and quietly to their outdoor location. In the afternoon, former Windsor Wildcats, who are now seniors in high school returned to Windsor for our Senior Walk. Windsor Wildcats cheered them on as they walked by and we wished them well in their future endeavors. Finally, today our Kindergarteners had their Fine Arts Celebration, thank you to all of the parents that attended, those kindergarteners really look ready for first grade!

Summer is almost here! I love walking around my neighborhood and seeing all the chalk drawings the kids have created. If you are looking for some fun activities with chalk, check out BabbleDabbleDo's blog. She not only has the directions on how to make your own chalk (https://babbledabbledo.com/diy-art-materials-chalk/), but she also has ideas on what to do with the little pieces of chalk left over or broken (https://babbledabbledo.com/art-kids-chalk-rocks/). Be sure to check them out! Have a great weekend! ~Mrs. Stella
