Principal's Message

At Morada, we organize three different promotion times to accommodate our students, allowing us to utilize our MP room for the ceremony. Students attend based on their 4th period class. When students are waiting for their Promotion Ceremony time, there will be opportunities to mingle with peers, take pictures, enjoy snacks, play games, and listen to music.

A quick reminder: To participate in the Promotion Ceremony, 8th-grade students must have maintained a minimum GPA of 1.5 for all four quarters of their 8th-grade year.

Additionally, please note that 7th-grade students will not attend the last day of school on May 31st. If they are on campus, they must be accompanied by an adult.

Schedule for Promotion will be sent out the end of April.

Announcements

State testing will take place April 21st to April 24th. The students will be released at 1:30, Monday thru Thursday. The school busses will pick up at 1:30 and the after-school program will be begin at that time. Please make sure to get students to school on time. Remind students to charge their computers each night.

April 16th-8th Grade Science State Test-Regular Day

April 21st-24th- State Testing-Early release at 1:30

Picking Students Up

We want to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of driving safety during school drop-off and pick-up times. Ensuring a safe environment for all of our students is a top priority, and your cooperation is essential in achieving this.

Here are a few key reminders to help make the process smooth and safe:

Follow posted speed limits – Please drive slowly in school zones and around the campus. Speeding poses a serious risk to students and staff.
Use designated drop-off/pick-up areas – To ensure the safety and efficiency of the process, only use the designated zones when dropping off or picking up students. Please do not stop in undesignated areas or block traffic.
Stay in your vehicle – If you are in a car line, please remain in your car and keep the line moving. If you need to leave your vehicle, please park in a designated parking area.
No cell phone use while driving – For everyone’s safety, please refrain from using your cell phone while driving in the school zone.
Be patient and courteous – The school zone can be busy during these times. Patience and attentiveness help keep everyone safe.

Your cooperation and support help ensure that drop-off and pick-up times run smoothly and safely. Together, we can create a safer environment for all students and staff.
