Mission Statement of the Columbus Pickleball Club
To promote the sport of pickleball as a fun, healthy, recreational activity for all skill levels in Columbus and the surrounding area.
Words from the President
The snow has melted and we have been reaching temps close to 50 this week. People are already out at Ceraland playing. Leagues at Tipton are in full swing and everything is set for the construction to continue at Dunn. Bartholomew County Parks and Rec have great ideas on how to utilize the courts to benefit all the players. FFY and Nexus have also been busy with players. Continue to post in Group Me your plans for joining.
The next beginners clinic is March 25 and March 26. Let me know if you would like to help.
A meeting with Columbus Parks and Rec has been scheduled with our new point of contact. Please email me with any issues you want addressed about play at Nexus or Donner: jageilker@icloud.com.
New players are appearing on the courts and seem to be mixing in nicely. Please introduce yourselves and show them the ropes. We want everyone to love this great game like we do!
See you on the courts!
Julie
