Superintendent's Message
Dear WED Community,
I would like to take this time to welcome everyone back from Spring Vacation! I hope you were able to get some well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Globe Park Elementary School roof update
Ahlborg Construction began preparation for the replacement of the roof at Globe Park Elementary school during vacation week. A temporary fence was installed in the Globe Park section of the campus (safely away from students) on Monday to create a corral to store work material. Beginning on Monday April 20th and until the roof is complete, the roofers will start early in the morning each day on a predetermined section of roof. They will install the fasteners before school starts so to limit the amount of noise, then at midmorning and thorough the end of the day they will roll out and adhere the membrane roof. This process will be conducted each day until the roof work is complete, which is estimated to take approximately 5 weeks. I will share updates with you as the work progresses.
Sincerely,
Patrick McGee, Ed.D.
