October Has Arrived!
Hello Phoenix families,
Our Halloween Trivia Night was a huge success last Friday. There were lots of fun questions and a good amount of friendly competition. A good time was had by all!
Don't forget our Chipotle fundraiser is TONIGHT! Come by from 4:00-8:00 pm for some yummy food and to support HSMC. You just need to show the flyer that is located further below in this newsletter.
The second "Coffee With The Principal" will be this Wednesday at 5:00pm. I do have them scheduled throughout the year both in the morning and the evening. This is a time for you to come by to meet with me and discuss any issues or ask any questions you have regarding HSMC. I do not have an agenda for the meeting, it is simply a way to make myself available to you in order to meet your needs. If this week's date does not work for you, the following dates are scheduled: November 9th, January 11th, February 8th, March 8th and April 12th. I hope to see you!
Can you believe that one quarter of the school year has passed already? Quarter one progress reports will be mailed out this week. Remember, only students who are earning a D or an F in one of their classes will receive a progress report mailed home. All other students' grades are available via Q Parent connect and/or Canvas. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions.
Our Juniors will be taking the PSAT test this Wednesday and EATM (The Moorpark Zoo) will be visiting our campus to give us a private viewing of some of their animals.
Thank you and have a wonderful week, Phoenix families!
