Attention Juniors and Junior Parents Lindbergh High School College and Career Readiness Assessment – Spring 2025
In Spring 2025, all Juniors at Lindbergh High School will have the opportunity to take a college or career readiness assessment. These assessments measure your abilities and help predict future academic and occupational success. Depending on your post-high school plans, you can choose the assessment that best aligns with your goals:
I plan to attend a 2-year community or technical college.
The Accuplacer is the recommended test for you. It is a series of tests that assess your skills in reading, writing, and math, helping college administrators place you in the appropriate courses.I plan to attend a 4-year college or university after graduation.
The ACT is the recommended test for you. The ACT is a widely used entrance exam for colleges and universities, covering subjects such as math, reading, English, and science.I plan to enlist in the military, enter the workforce, or I am unsure of my plans.
The ASVAB is the recommended test for you. The ASVAB assesses your strengths in science, math, and language. It is required for military enlistment but is also helpful in identifying your skills and interests, even if you're undecided about your future plans. The ASVAB can guide your course selection for college and help with career decisions.
The form in SchoolLinks needs to be completed by Wednesday, October 23rd. Students, you can sign into SchoolLinks here to make the choice.
Senior Activities This Week Thursday during PAC is our senior panoramic picture in Flyers Gym.Students are encouraged to wear their senior jerseys or something green or gold. 10/24 is also our last day for senior pictures and Ms. Shade has contacted and scheduled all seniors who have not yet had a photo taken.
For any senior who did not turn in their cap and gown order by last Friday’s deadline, Jostens will return this Friday, 10/25, for a final time to collect orders. Paper packets are in 143 & electronic copies were sent 10/3.
Free ACT Prep by Peers Equity in Action will be facilitating free ACT prep in room 306 on Wednesdays during B lunch. This is a great alternative for students who are not able to attend the after school class we offer, but would still like some extra help preparing for this test."
Apotheosis Apotheosis, Lindbergh’s Art Magazine Club, will have a booth at the SLICE Comic Expo on Saturday, October 26, from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Sheldon Concert Hall. We’ll be showcasing and selling student-made artwork and copies of our magazine. It’s a great opportunity to support our talented students and see the amazing work they’ve been creating!
