Hello Otsego Families!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be on Monday, November 25th from 10am-8pm.

If you'd like to schedule a conference with your child's teacher(s) please call the office at 419-823-4381, ext. 3100 or email ediepenbruck@otsegoknights.org Please include your child's name, the teachers you'd like a conference with, your preference on date and time of day.

If you know anyone that you would like to nominate for the Otsego Hall of Fame, please see the link enclosed for details. This one way that we can honor those distinguished alumni, friends of the district, or former employees that have made a positive impact on our school, community , or students.

As Thanksgiving approaches, we want to take a moment to show gratitude for our incredible teachers, para-professionals, coaches & other staff members. We're inviting you to share a few words of appreciation for any staff member who has made a positive impact on your child.

By taking just a moment to fill out a quick form, your message of thanks will be presented to the staff member as a special note of appreciation. These heartfelt messages will be delivered as certificates to teachers and displayed to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and care they show every day. Your kind words will mean the world to them, and together, we can make this Thanksgiving season a truly meaningful one for our school community. Thank you for helping us show our staff members how much they're valued!

TIPS AND TRICKS!

Supporting Your Child At Home

Again this year, we are hoping to make the holiday season a little brighter for some of

our students whose families are facing hard times due to various reasons.

If you would like to help a child in need, please watch the principal’s Friday email

updates for a link to choose an Angel “virtually” (around Nov. 15th). You will be

asked to provide your name and phone number when you choose a student in need.

Each child will have two angels assigned (an A and a B) with the child’s age and

gender. Angel A will have the most needed clothing items and the child’s sizes, while

Angel B will have the child’s interests and favorite toys. These will be suggestions to

assist you in selecting special gifts for that child.

Gifts must be brought to the office by DECEMBER 11th.

Thank you to everyone who helps to make this program a HUGE success.

If you or an organization you represent wish to make a monetary donation,

please drop it off at one of the three school offices and we will make sure the

funds are used to purchase items for an Angel.

To Register your child to be on the Angel Tree:

*The program is for ALL students who attend Otsego Preschool through 12th grade.

*If you wish to have your child as a participant in the program, please use the QR code

*You must have registration completed byNovember 11thto participate.

*We will contact parents when gifts are ready to be picked

up. The pick-up location will be your student(s) building. If

you have more than one child and multiple buildings, you

will need to pick up at multiple locations.

The Hall of Fame is designed to recognize individuals who have brought honor to themselves by making significant impacts or contributions to the school, community, or students. The Otsego Hall of Fame also exists for all alumni who have earned distinction beyond graduation. These individuals have made noteworthy achievements as successful adults in their chosen careers and/or have served as benefactors of mankind. The Otsego Hall of Fame also recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Otsego Local Schools as a staff member, coach, or friend of Otsego.
