All ASASP Members,

If you are not already enrolled in our SLB, today is the last day of the month and you need to get your Sick Leave Bank Form in before the October 1st deadline. If you do not join today, you will have to wait until the enrollment window opens again on July 1, 2024.This is it!

If you are already enrolled, Don't Do Anything. Once you are enrolled you will be charged 3 days or (24 hours) each year on July 1st until you submit paperwork to disenroll.

If you just recently joined ASASP from another union, please know that your enrollment in any other union does not roll over to ASASP You must join us now, in order to qualify for use of the bank should the need arise between now and July 1st.

Please be sure not send your correspondence through PGCPS email, as they are able to monitor your personal business, which is why ASASP is constantly reminding you to use your personal email especially when communicating with us.

Rules for the Sick Leave Bank

Please don't take your rights for granted. Folks have spent many years fighting for our rights as employees, starting from the bottom when employee rights were looked down upon by most. Please keep in mind that we must continue to fight, as opposition is always looking for the opportunity to pull rights back from us.

Nevertheless, we're gonna do it! Nothing is going to turn us back now, use your benefits, don't take them for granted.

You know I don't own the rights to the clips in this correspondence, but if we listen closely they kind of remind us of how fragile life is and how vulnerable our liberties are today.
