New: This year's Parade will have Sensory-Friendly Section
We are asking all of parade participants to refrain from using sirens, horns, music, etc. as they proceed through the section of Main Street from Clark Street to the Fire Hall. Signs will be placed in the area to mark the area and remind our parade participants of the sensory friendly zone.
Get the scoop at the Community Tailgate tent
For the first time since the COVID pandemic, the Community Tailgate will make its reappearance at this Friday's Homecoming pre-game festivities.
This year, volunteers from Journey Ministries and Davison Free Methodist Church will be serving up free ice cream to those who stop by. You can find the Community Tailgate tents set up near the soccer fields on the west side of the high school campus. Ice cream will be served beginning at 4:30 p.m. until they run out!

Varsity players to greet students coming to school on Friday
Players from our Varsity Football team will be out and about greeting students prior to school on Friday morning.
The team participated in the event last year on Homecoming and it was so well received by our students, staff and community they decided to do it again. Team members will be high-fiving and greeting students in grades K-6.

Meet the 2024 Homecoming Court and Underclassmen Representatives
The Homecoming King and Mr. Congeniality will be announced during halftime ceremonies at Wednesday night's Powderpuff football game. The Homecoming Queen and Miss Congeniality will be crowned at halftime ceremonies at Friday night's game.
Queen Candidates
Ryan Garrett
Ryan is the daughter of Terra and John. Her siblings are Jackson and Abby. She is on the Varsity Volleyball team and is an officer in National Honor Society. Her favorite class is Marketing.
Kail Glennie
Kail is the daughter of Blaise and Barb and has four siblings. She is involved in cross country, lacrosse, Key Club and is a Cardinal Ambassador. Her favorite class is Marketing.
Josie Rogers
Josie is the daughter of Michelle Rogers. She has two sisters, Maya and Melinda. Josie is involved in cross country, National Honor Society and is a Teacher Cadet. Her favorite class is Criminal Law.
Merrick Spiewak
Merrick is the daughter of Holger and Lindsey and she has six siblings. She is involved in varsity swim and tennis as well as National Honor Society, Student Council and Key Club. Her favorite class is Painting.
Gracie Wright
Gracie is the daughter of Mark and Jessica. She has a sister, Chloe. Gracie is on the varsity soccer and basketball teams. She loves having classes with her best friend.

Cooper Austin
Cooper is the son of Dana and John. He has a brother, Parker. He is involved in DTV, Student Council, National Honor Society and Davison Early College. His favorite class is DTV.
Jacob Barr
Jacob is the son of Erin Ruth and David Barr. He has three siblings. Jacob is involved in concert choir, regional and state honors choir and the varsity musicals. His favorite class is Spanish 1.
Trayten Haido
Tray is the son of Eddie and Angie, and has a sister Trayza. He participates in varsity football, basketball and track. His favorite class is Marketing.
Braylen Naves
Braylen is the son of Katie and Markus Naves. He has six siblings. Braylen participates in varsity football and track. His favorite class is PE.
Dominic Perez- Dom is the son of Eric Perez and Amber Anderson. He has a sibling Deven Perez. He is on the wrestling and baseball teams. His favorite class is AP Macroeconomics, and in the future he plans to work for his family business.
Underclassmen Representatives
Freshmen Prince: Dwight Pratcher is the son of Elizabeth Marie and Dwight Pratcher. His siblings are Emmari and Dontae. Dwight plays football and his favorite class is Spanish.
Freshmen Princess: Ellory Bastuk is the daughter of Erica and Chris. She has a younger brother named Brodie. Ellory is a member of the Davison High School Marching Band and her favorite class is science.
Sophomore Prince: Jaylin McDaniel is the son of Jay and Krashonda. He has a sister, Jalaya. Jaylin participates in football and basketball, and his favorite class is strength and conditioning.
Sophomore Princess: Maliah Mata is the daughter of Steve and Stacie. She has three siblings Preston, Brayden and Landon. Maliah participates in volleyball, basketball and soccer, and her favorite class is history.
Junior Prince: Ben Nichols is the son of Keith and Elisha. He’s a member of the varsity football and track teams. His favorite class is PE.
Junior Princess: Isabella Anselmo is the daughter of Salvatore and Ashley. Her siblings are Amelia, Sebastian and Salena. Her favorite class is AP Language

The Tradition Continues: Powderpuff games takes place on Wednesday
It's juniors vs seniors in the traditional Powderpuff game, which takes place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Cardinal Stadium.
Tickets are $5 each. Since this event raises fund for the Junior Class (for prom), no passes will be accepted.
Homecoming Parade details
Beginning at 4:45 p.m. Clark Street will be closed from Russell Alger Drive to the west entrance of Davison High School (near the soccer fields) and will remain closed for the evening.
The parade begins promptly at 5 p.m. starting at Davison High School and continuing west on Clark Street to Main Street, north on Main Street and ends at Main and Fourth streets. Buses will shuttle students/participants walking in the parade back to the high school and will be staged along Main Street near City Hall.
