A Message from our Principal:

Birch Climate Data

Last week I had the opportunity to share with our School Accountability Committee the results of the Birch Climate Survey, which our 2nd through 5th-grade students took this past fall. We are very pleased that the aggregate data show improvements all across the board including in our focus areas. Last year, we focused on improving how safe students feel in the hallways and bathrooms of the school and also that students feel that they treat each other with respect at Birch. We showed great improvement in both of those areas, and in fact, scored much higher than the BVSD district average in all areas. We love that our students feel safe, connected, and that they belong at Birch. We know that students who are happy at school are much more likely to show the most academic and social growth.

College scholarships available from Impact on Education

Starting February 1, Impact on Education will be accepting applications for college scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 per year, many of which are renewable. Applications for the Class of 2025 are due on March 17, 2025.
