READ IN Week is an annual event dedicated to promoting literacy and fostering a love of reading across all age groups. This year’s celebration, from October 7-11, 2024, marks the 35th annual READ IN Week and highlights the crucial role reading plays in schools, libraries, workplaces, and communities.

Theme for 2024 - Reading is for Everyone!

Reading isn’t just about storybooks. READ IN is not only for children. It’s for everyone! What does reading look like to you? Following instructions? Reading a recipe? Enjoying a graphic novel or comic book? Reading the news? Looking at the weather forecast? Research? Reading for pleasure? Reading a storybook to a loved one?

This is a friendly reminder to pay any outstanding school fees as soon as possible. All school fees must be paid by October 30th. Every family that has their fees paid IN FULL by the month's end will be entered for a $100 Grocery Gift Card.

On Wegnesday, October 16th, at 1 p.m., we will have a Thanksgiving Liturgy and Grade 4 Bible Presentation. The Religion students will receive the blessed bibles presented from the CWL. The Grade 4 Religion Students and Ms. Doehring will be leading us in the Thanksgiving Liturgy.

All family members are welcome to join us!

On Wednesday, Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools celebrated their Annual Long Service Awards. This year we had one staff member celebrating a milestone with the school division.

Congratulations to Ms. Doehring for 10 years. We are proud to celebrate the success of Titans' staff!

Knowing what we value in life can help create a road map that guides our thoughts, behaviours, and actions through life’s daily ups and downs.

When we are able to live life as close to our values as possible, we can live with increased satisfaction, purpose, and resiliency.

As the first month of the school year has come and gone, we invite you to reflect as an adult, as a family, or to help your child in reflecting on their values as time becomes more valuable and life becomes increasingly busy.

Taking time to reconnect with what really matters as individuals, as a family, or in helping our children can help us live more authentically and help us make decisions that can help guide our lives in the direction we would like them to go!
