Student Notices/Absences
Inglewood Primary School uses Edge as our Student Management System and I have attached instructions on how to download the Edge App to your devices.
Please use this app for all school absences and checking the balance on your child's account. Please do not email the school office with your child's absent if it is only for one day. If you are going on holiday for a few days, then please email. When notifying the school of your child's absence, please give a reason eg unwell, holiday, appointment etc. If you prefer, please also leave a message on the school absence line stating your child/children are away and the reason.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the office.
Class, Individual & Sibling Photos
All parents/caregivers have been emailed your child's unique Key Code to go online and view and purchase 2024 School Photos. Please check your spam/trash folder in case you haven't received it. If for some reason you do not have this email, please contact the school office. All orders placed before midnight Sunday 23 June will be delivered to school free of charge.
Change of Clothes
As we approach winter and the rain arrives, puddles and mud can be an everyday occurence. Please ensure your child has a spare change of clothes in their bag if/when those accidents happen. We only have a small supply of spare clothes at school. Thank you.
Head Lice / Nits
Those nasty critters are back again! Please check your child's hair for headlice, there have been a few cases at school over the last few weeks. If we all check and treat as necessary we can eliminate them.
Term 3 Out of Zone Enrolment
Enrolment at Inglewood School is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available on the school website or from the school office.
The board is now inviting applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at Inglewood Primary School starting within Term 3 2024.
All applications must be received by 3pm Monday 24 June for Term 3 2024. If a ballot for out of zone places is required, it will be held on Wednesday 26 June 2024. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
The board has determined that 10 places from Year 1-5 are likely to be available for out-of-zone students within Term 3 2024. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school’s home zone. Parents of students who live within the home zone and intend enrolling their child at any time during the year should notify the school to assist the school to plan appropriately.
The application form for enrolment is available from the school website, or from the school office.
Please note, that if the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected by ballot. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
Details relating to the next enrolment period Term 4 2024 will be published September 2024.
