The Weekly Update #4
May 29th, 2024
Panther Prowl for the Week of August 19th - 23rd.
Mrs. Taylor's Message
Mt. Nebo Families, Thank you for sending us your best! We are off to a great start and we are looking forward to opportunities to work with your students as they make this jump from elementary to middle school. We spent 5-7 min. in each class this past week, helping students understand our expectations in middle school and going over policies to put students and teachers on the same page. (The District is in the process of switching over our websites to a new program - when that is available, the presentations will be made available on the school website.) All students got a Panther Spirit shirt, they are welcome to wear on Fridays to help their Pod earn points. Friday, we had students from Payson High School come down to cheer on our students and encourage them for the new school year. We appreciated support from students involved in Student Council, Band, Colorguard, Cheer, and Football. We are grateful for your support as well, as we work together as partners in your child’s education. “We’re All In This Together”!
Opening Assembly
We were very forunate to have some of the PHS Cheerleaders, Football players and Band come to help kick off our school year! It was awesome to have them talk, cheer, motivate and play for our students, it gave our students things to look forward to at PHS.
Picture Day!
Friday, Aug. 23rd, we will have our school pictures taken. These are used for ID cards and for the yearbook! All students will get their picture taken wether they purchase a packet or not! Students will be given picture packets with costs involved!

Question of the Week!
This week is more like "Share Your Summer!" We have shown pictures of "What Teachers do in the Summer." This week we want to have our students share 1 picture and a brief description of what you did this past summer!
It can be anything from a tour of Europe to a tour of Mona! If all you did was play video games, send us a picture and a brief description of what you did or where you went. Each student who does this will get a treat! We will put these in the Panther Prowl, so check with your adult and make sure they are ok with it!
