Clubs. We had our first day of clubs today and students had a fantastic time engaging with new students. Clubs are a time when students of all grade levels and across teams are able to engage with one another on a topic of mutual interest. This is also a great time for students to see staff in a new light and connect with them on an area of their interest, too.

Attendance Awareness Month. September is Attendance Awareness Month, a nationwide recognition of the connection between regular school attendance and academic achievement. At Piper Middle School our goal this year is that fewer than 10.1% of students will be identified as chronically absent (attendance <90%) at the end of the 2024-2025 attendance year as measured by Skyward attendance records. We appreciate your support in trying your best to schedule appointments, vacations, and other activities as best as you can to ensure students are attending classes as much as possible.
