- Camps for students in Kindergarten thru Grade 2 will conclude on Tuesday April 22, 2025.

- Science Camps for eligible Grade 5 students Science began this month and will conclude after five sessions, that are held once a week.

K-5 Character Counts Trait: Courage - “I try to be brave whenever I can be.”
Elementary students that can make the right choices and decisions, even if they are difficult to make are using their courage.
They know and understand what is good, true, and right.
These students can stand up with courage instead of hiding in fear of what is correct.
MYP IB Learner Profile Trait: Balanced - “I have a tranquil body, active mind, and a vibrant soul.”
MYP students that can manage various aspects of their lives to achieve optimal well-being for themselves and others are being balanced.
Students can manage their intellectual, physical, and emotional health.

Our April Character Star Assembly will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 8:45am.
Our nominated students and their families received an invitation to attend.
Nominated students are invited to dress up for the big event!
Each family that makes a purchase for our Jersey Mike's Fundraiser will receive 1 service hour!
Attach your receipt to an Off Campus Service Hour Form and submit to our offices for approval.

GRADE 8/MYP Y3 STUDENTS ONLY
PowerSchool eCollect form titled Incoming 9th Grade Questionnaire has now been created and published in the Parent/Guardian Portal for current 8th grade/MYP Y3 families (who have indicated that their child) will be attending Franklin Academy for their child's 9th grade. Please complete the brief, one-question form by Thursday May 1, 2025.
Below are the answer options for the E-Collect for the incoming 9th grade to our K12 campus:
1. Yes, I did my intent to return and completed the course selection form.
2. Yes, I did my intent to return, but did not complete the course selection form.
3. Yes, I did my intent to return but I'm undecided about attending Franklin Academy K-12.
4. Yes, I did my intent to return, but I will not be attending Franklin Academy K-12.
We will continue to collect the bottle caps until the end of April!

Franklin Academy observes Take A Child to Work Day and Beyond on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
This is a district-approved field trip and will not be counted as an absence if the completed field trip form is submitted to the school by Thursday April 17, 2025.
Only students in Grades 2–8 / MYP Y3 are eligible to participate.
Students may participate by spending the day at a workplace with a parent, guardian, adult relative, or family friend. This experience is designed to be more than career exploration—it’s about helping students see the connection between education, family, and future goals in a real-world, hands-on setting.

National Youth Violence Prevention Week is a week-long initiative aimed at raising awareness and educating students, staff, and the community on ways to prevent and reduce youth violence.
Activities throughout the week will highlight the positive impact students can have in creating safer schools and communities—tied to the mission of Sandy Hook Promise.
