Dear Green Hope High School Families,

I hope you have all had a wonderful week and enjoyed this beautiful weather. The Senior Breakfast was a blast and we look forward to celebrating those Seniors earning recognition on Monday evening.

As a reminder, all students should be in attendance on Tuesday and Wednesday for teacher made final exams or state exam review. The only exception to this is with Seniors who have earned a final exam exemption.

Entry to the in-person ceremony is by ticket only.

Please remember, with the exception of Seniors who have earned Final Exam Exemptions, all students have exams to take and should plan to attend school on June 4th and 5th. State Exams (EOC and CTE) begin on June 6th. On those days, students attend only if they have a state exam to take. On state exam days, students are dismissed at 12:18pm.

Congratulations to our National Technical Honor Society for earning a Silver Star of Excellence Award in the Chapter Awards Program.

Our chapter has exemplified the NTHS Core Four Objectives, offering a holistic and enriching experience for our members. This award recognizes our exceptional dedication to career development, leadership, service, and recognition within your school and community.

As students begin to plan their schedules and club/organization participation in the future, please review the updated requirements to participate in HOSA:

1. Students must be a Junior or Senior.

2. Students must have taken or be enrolled in Health Science II or Biomedical Technology.

3. If students choose to drop out of their upper-level Health Sciences class, they will be removed from HOSA.

4. Students who do not meet the above requirements but want to compete may do so through SKILLS USA (an alternate CTSO).

Everyone planning to attend a college/university MUST request a Final Transcript, even if you applied through Common Application.

If you are attending a college/university OUTSIDE of North Carolina, you need to request that by going to: https://wcpss.scriborder.com At the bottom, in a green box: “Select The Information Type(s) Requested” check FINAL TRANSCRIPT. You will see that there is no charge for this request. It is only for Current Students and will be good until June 30th. After June 30th, you will need to pay for a final transcript.

If you are attending a college/university IN North Carolina, use the transcript manager on: www.cfnc.org You must select – this is your final transcript.

Any graduating senior who attended Cary ES is welcome to participate on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 2:30 PM. They should arrive dressed in their cap and gown.

It’s time to register for this year’s GHHS annual Youth Camps. These camps are open to any rising 2nd-8th grader. Have your child experience high energy, GHHS player lead developmental drills that give the participants the skills and knowledge to play for the next level. Registration is open. Register by June 3 to guarantee a t-shirt!
