The Interstellar show spirit wear has arrived and looks awesome! Pick up will be Monday at EAST from 7:30-8:30pm. Stop by the East Band Room to pick up your items. If the kids are inside due to rain, spirit wear pick up will be in the East Cafeteria. ALL LWMB fees listed in Charms (except for the travel fee) must be paid in full prior to picking up the spirit wear. Thank you!

Wednesday, August 16

4:30-8:30pm - Percussion and Color Guard at EAST

4:30-5:30pm - Student Leadership Meeting at EAST

5:00-6:30pm - Flutes and Low Brass Sectionals at EAST


Thursday, August 17

4:30-8:30pm - Rehearsal at EAST for woodwinds, brass and guard

4:30-6:00pm - Marimba 1 and snare sectional at EAST


Friday, August 18

5:15-7:00pm - Community Knight at Central for Central Football Band members

4:00pm-TBD - Community Night at West for West Football Band members


Saturday, August 19

8am-4pm - Rehearsal for all at NORTH (bring food for lunch)

Football Band

The fall athletic season is starting soon, and that means that it is time for the LWMB students to bring the energy to L-W football games!


The game schedules are on the Google calendar on the LWMB website: https://www.lincolnwaymusic.org/lwmb-season-calendar.html


All LWMB woodwind, brass, and percussion members are required to perform at the football games for their home campus. Students are invited to play in the football band at other campuses when there is not a game at their home campus. Color guard members are invited to pick up an instrument and play at games if they would like.


Here are the "Remind" codes for each campus "football band." LWMB students should join the group for their campus, and are welcome to join the other two groups if they wish.

Friendly reminder - students must find their own ride to rehearsal on Monday and for the Institute performance on Tuesday. The shuttle bus service will begin on Wednesday. New members - check with your section leader or older students to find out where to wait for the shuttle at your campus!

LWMB Community Night

Saturday, August 26 - LWMB Community Night at EAST


All family members, friends and community members are invited to attend a preview of the LWMB competitive show, Interstellar!


Gates open at 6pm and the performance begins at 7pm. Burgers, hot dogs, pizza and corn will be for sale along with spirit wear including a special Community Night shirt! We will also have some awesome raffle baskets and split the pot!
