A Message From Ms. Cannon
Happy Friday!
We have had a busy week back from spring break! 4th grade had both their annual concert and Ag Day at the high school. Thank you 4th grade families, teachers, and Mr. Snyder for all of their hard work preparing for the concert. I have never heard Taylor Swift on the recorder sound so good!
Our Girls on the Run group ran ten laps around the building to practice for their 5K in May and every class lined up around the building to cheer them on. Thank you to the families who have been so supportive of our girls. They did great at the practice run and I'm confident they are going to do great in May too!
3rd and 4th grade took their spring reading Ohio State Tests this week and 5th grade will take their reading tests next week.
We have our final KNO this evening and our Bogan Art show is next week. Please see the calendar below for more details. We hope to see everyone at these upcoming events!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Kirsten Cannon, Principal

Breakfast with a Veteran
We are excited to announce our first annual Breakfast with a Veteran. Bogan students will have the opportunity to invite one veteran from their family to have breakfast with them in the cafeteria. In the next few weeks, a Google Form will be in this newsletter and a paper form for families to RSVP will go home in your child's folder.
Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
We will introduce the hallway expectations next week. Please review these expectations with your child at home as well.

Lunch Accounts
As a reminder, you are able to add funds to your student's lunch account through the Talawanda EZ Pay system. If your student's account reaches -$50 it will be rolled into your school fees. Please be mindful and keep your student's account current. You can use Talawanda EZ Pay, send a check or cash to the school office to take care of your student's balance.

Counselor's Corner: Updated February 28th
Hello parents and guardians! All grade levels have officially wrapped up their units on empathy and kindness and we are moving into our final unit of the year which will focus on problem solving. We officially only have four lessons left for this school year and we will wrap Second Step up by the end of April to focus on all of the fun events that we know the last month of school brings!
It has been such a joy to work alongside your students this year and to watch them grow. As we move closer to the end of the year, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns about your child. My job is to help support their full academic, social, and emotional well being here at school and I am happy to help in any way that I can.
Nurse's Notes: Updated February 7th
We have seen an increase in nurse visits this week in the clinic. We are asking you to please evaluate your children prior to sending them to school each day. Please keep your sick children at home to help prevent the spread of illness in the school.
