One of Pacific Sky’s greatest strengths is our incredible home-school partnership. Together, as a school community we share an ongoing commitment to educating the whole child by providing meaningful learning opportunities that promote curiosity, communication, connection, and collaboration. We are grateful to partner with our families in educating our Pilots. PTA Ice Cream Social on September 14th!
Our first PTA event of the year will be our Ice Cream Social on Thursday, September 14th, from 6:00-7:30 pm near the servery area. Come enjoy yummy Ice Cream. FREE!! In addition to ice cream, we will have Pizza from Flipping Pizza available for purchase. This will be a great chance to reconnect with the Pacific Sky community. The PTA will graciously accept cash donations or donations via Totem. We will have a QR code available during this event. Please sign-up to volunteer for Ice Cream Social here.

Parent Math Nights
Parent Math Nights are planned for Thursday, September 7 (Grades K-2) and Thursday, September 14 (Grades 3-6) at Ocean Air School. At these sessions, you will have an opportunity to learn more about cognitively guided math instruction in the Del Mar Union School District.

Reflections Program
On popular demand, we are very excited to announce our first Reflections program at Pacific Sky School. The Reflections Program, organized by California State PTA and National PTA, is an arts recognition and achievement program for students. The artwork theme this year is “I’m Hopeful Because…”. DMSEF Fall Campaign perks
Are your children talking about their Science, Innovation, Art, Music, or PE classes? Our extraordinary STEAM+ program, taught by credentialed specialists, sets our district apart from others in California. Working with our community, the Del Mar Schools Education Foundation (DMSEF) raises 40% of the funding for our incredible STEAM+ teachers.
Families who contribute @ give.dmsef.org $400-$999/student will receive a DMSEF car magnet, and families who contribute $1000+/student will receive a Visionary car magnet. All families who contribute $800+/student will also be entered into a Fall Opportunity Drawing for local gift cards, like a 2-night stay at The Lodge Torrey Pines, 2-night ocean front stay at Ocean Park Inn, gift cards to Monarch, Poseidon, Brigantine, Massage Concepts and more!
