Good Evening Acacia Families,

Thank you for a great week! I definitely enjoyed the cooler temperatures at the end of last week.


Upcoming Events:

  • September 16 - School Site Council Meeting 3:00 pm
  • September 20 - Book Fair Kick-Off, 5:30-8:00 pm, Special Guest Magician, 6:30-7:15 pm
  • September 23-27 - Conference Week, all students dismiss at 12:30
  • September 23-27 - Book Fair, 8:00-1:00
  • September 25 - Conference Day, No School for students
  • September 27 - Family Picnic, 11:30-12:25

Fall conferences are September 23-27. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday is a full conference day, so students do not attend school that day. During conferences, teachers will discuss your child’s progress thus far. This is also a time to discuss GATE screening for students in 3rd-6th grade. If you are interested in the screening process for your child, please discuss this with your child’s teacher during your conference. Thanks!

Staff Shout Outs
Click here to give a Shout Out or Compliment to one of our amazing Acacia staff members. All Shout Outs will be read aloud and presented at our next staff meeting.

Safety

Safety is our number one priority at Acacia. We are asking all of our families and students to only use our designated entrance and exit gates for arrival and dismissal from school. The designated entrance and exit gates include the main Dorothy gate near the Kindergarten playground, and the gates that open to the parking lot. Please do not use our emergency gates that open to the field. We appreciate your support as we strive to keep our students safe.

We hope that all Acacia Families are having a great start to the school year. Our kick-off fundraising drive is starting soon. We hope all Panda families will consider donating to continue the great legacy of support. More details are coming soon. We can't wait to line the fence with Pandas!
