Message From The Principal

Westbrook Families,

This has been a busy week at Westbrook! We enjoyed all the participation from our students during our spirit week and pajama day was the perfect way to end the week! This week we also saw some culminating events across Westbrook! Our kindergarten students paraded throughout the hallways to show off their gingerbread costumes to wrap up their gingerbread unit. Our second grade students also put on a show during their Characters On Parade. This event shows off the creative skills of students by making a story book character out of a balloon and used their coding skills to program a robot to follow a parade route. We had our all school winter sing this week as well hosted by our fabulous music teacher, Karin Meister. A big thank you to the PTA for sponsoring our Winter Parties and to all of the parents/guardians that volunteered to attend! The PTA also sponsored an assembly this week as the GBS Chamber Singers visited Westbrook Friday morning!

As we look forward to 2025 I wanted to share my own thank you to all of our Westbrook families for your continued partnership and support. We value your collaboration in the education process! I wish you all a healthy, relaxing and restful Winter Break. Happy Holidays! Happy New Year!
