Cuttime Migration
We have officially migrated to a new program called Cuttime and are no longer using Charms. We will use Cuttime to communicate with parents and students, in addition to keeping track of various fees and trips. This is a new program for all of us, and we appreciate your patience and flexibility with us as we navigate this new system this school year.
Your Cuttime account allows us to communicate with all students, and all parent(s)/guardian(s) rapidly. Good communication between both students and parents is essential to the success of our program.
To access Cuttime:
Go to the welcome text you received in the Summer and click on the enclosed link.
If you have not received a welcome message, please email jordynwhite@tomballisd.net
Please do not block this number as it will be a form of frequent communication throughout the year. The personalized link on this text will allow you to check various fees, scholarship point balances, and previous announcements from directors and Booster Club. It is recommended that you save this number in your phone as “Cuttime messages” or “TMHS Choir”
Wildcat Choir Camp 2024
We had a blast at Wildcat Choir Camp last Saturday and are excited for the start of the school year! We hope you enjoy your last weekend before the school year starts!
Complete your 2024-2025 Forms Below!
Please complete the following forms for this school year. All forms and fees are due by August 31st for a major grade for your student. The following forms are required of all students:
Handbook Acknowledgement
Medical Release
Travel/Transportation
Our class fee for the school year is now available to begin paying!
Choir Ice Cream Social
Our first social of the year is on Friday from 3:00-4:30pm! Socials are not required, but are a lot of fun for our students to get to know their choir family!
For this social ONLY, students are allowed to bring ONE friend that is not in choir, but must be a student at TMHS. Come down to the cafeteria at the end of the school day and enjoy some ice cream and friendship to kick off the school year!
Participation in the All-State process is similar to Region auditions in junior high, but includes 4 rounds of auditions. Chamber/Major Chords members are required to participate, and Chorale members are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to participate.
As per our handbook, students do not have to pay for their audition fee, however, if your student does not show up to audition for any reason including sickness, or drops out of the audition they must then reimburse the audition fee.
Students must purchase their own music, but we do have packets available at school for $25.
Labor and Patriotic Day Flag Sign Up
Below is the sign-up for our Labor Day Flag Fundraiser. We welcome your help in distributing flags to our subscribers that support all we do in choir! Your student will earn service points that they can use on choir trips, banquets, & many any other choir expenses. These points apply to the 2024-2025 school year so you can bank them for future expenses.
The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, August 20, 2024. We will distribute flags on Saturday, August 24th. We will be at Tomball Memorial High School (bus parking lot) from 9 -10 AM for you to pick up your flags. Flags need to be picked up and returned to the high school on Sunday, September 15th, from 3 - 4 PM.
PLEASE BE PROMPT WITH BOTH PICK-UP AND RETURN OF FLAGS!
These times are when someone will be at the school to give & receive the flags, NOT when you should start collecting the flags for return. You can pick up the day before, but you will need to store the flags in a secure location until the return time.
*****Please be sure you can fulfill both the distribution and pick-up of flags before you commit, or partner with a friend to each do one day or both together!****
Thank you so much for participating!
If you have any questions or issues, contact Naomi at 281-224-2921.
Choir Uniform Fittings
If you did not get fitted for a choir uniform at schedule pickup and freshmen orientation, we will get you fitted for one once the school year begins!
Choir Spring Trip 2025
We are very excited to be heading back to San Antonio and the Flying L Dude Ranch this Spring! Our trip contract and deposit link is below for those who are planning on traveling with us. This is an incredible trip that our students loved in 2023, and you can find some photos and videos from that trip below.
If your student is allowed to travel with us, please print, read, sign and return the hard copy to Choir. No digital forms of the contract can be allowed this year. We will have copies available for your student to bring home. Only the signed last page of the contract is needed.
Please be aware that students must be academically and attendance eligible to travel on the spring trip.
All initial deposits must be made by September 15th, along with the trip contract. There will be links provided each month for the following payments. All schoolcashonline payments will have an additional service charge that does not count toward the payment. For example, the initial deposit is $100, but has a $5 service charge. Also be aware that the initial deposit is non-refundable and monies paid for the rest of the trip cannot be refunded after the December 15th payment, unless you are able to sell your trip for full price.
More information and the tentative itinerary can be found in the trip contract. We always need parents to go, too!!!
