THE's Weekly eBlast
December 4, 2016
Principal Message
Parents,
We certainly had a busy week returning from Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to the next few weeks with the students finalizing their goals for this first semester. Students and Staff are working hard to accomplish goals and achieving academic success.
I am proud to work with our staff, students, and parents here at Tuscany.
On a safety note, as we approach the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I wanted to mention a few safety concerns that staff and parents have shared with me recently. Please be cautious with parent drop off and pick up. We have staff on duty at 7am in the front office. Prior to this time, your child is unattended. There is not a guarantee a staff member will be here prior to 7am, and if so, it is their time in their classroom/work area. Please use curbside to drop students off in the car lane. We have seen students dropped off in the parking lot at the crosswalk to avoid the line. This is not a safe practice due to the high volume of vehicles in the morning. Thank you for understanding we want all students to be safe.
We wish everyone a wonderful December!
Thank you,
Tara Bailey
