A Message from Roundtown Principal, Dr. Miller
Happy Friday, Roundtown Families & Friends!
It was a GREAT short week back after the Thanksgiving holiday and it's hard to believe we are looking at our next holiday break in only two weeks. The children are definitely feeling electric as the days go by and they feel that sense of magic in the air! I am proud of the way the kids transitioned back after such a long Thanksgiving break and they were excited to share their stories about family and friends and turkey! The next couple weeks will go fast and the school will be working its own magic to keep everyone focused and engaged with learning. Along the way we will have some fun of course too!
Have an amazing weekend! I'll be cheering on my alma mater, PSU in the big game on Saturday before heading back to Johnstown for a few days. After a long and hard road with chemotherapy, my mom's cancer journey is finally reaching an endpoint (hopefully!). Her mastectomy is scheduled for Monday morning and I will be there with dad to get her home and help for a few days. I will miss the kids for a few days next week but am thankful to be able to help mom recover and to support dad. I am so thankful this year for our community and your love and my Roundtown family's love and support. I am looking forward to 2025!
Regards,
Dr. Miller

It was a short "back to school" week as we returned from the holiday. The children re-acclimated well and were excited to share their stories about Thanksgiving.
