With great joy and thanksgiving, I come before you today to declare the goodness of the Lord

in the land of the living. The Lord continues to shower the Mount Moriah Church with His undue faithfulness. The year 2023 has been a year to remember in the life of our church. Construction commenced, and now we have a good portion of the fellowship hall classroom spaces framed and nearly walled in. The metal is now onsite and framing for the sanctuary is substantially underway. And so, as we move into 2024, we’re asking every member to do two things:

1. Continue to pray for the project

2. Help us pay for the project. In 2024, we are asking every member to give at least an additional $24 above their regular giving each month. That totals an additional $288 from every member for the year 2024.

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” I Thessalonians 5:18.

October is Loyalty Month and Clergy Month at Mt. Moriah. The theme is “The Gift Of Peace (John 14:27), Of a Pastor (Jeremiah 3:15), Of Power (2 Peter 1:3), Of Prayer (Hebrews 4:15-16).” The focus of our One in Prayer Project for the month of October will coincide with the theme. Pray daily at 1pm that we acknowledge and are grateful for the gifts in these verses and apply them in our daily walk with God.

The Tithe.ly can be accessed online and may also be used on Android or Apple devices by downloading the app. While the church will incur small fees for the transactional use of Tithe.ly, Tithe.ly does provide you the option to ‘cover fees’ for the transaction on behalf of the church, if you choose to do so. The church incurs less fees when you choose Bank Account ACH payment, however Tithe.ly gives you the option of using your debit card, Apple Pay, Android Pay, or Microsoft Pay. You can also set up recurring giving through Tithe.ly as well.
