A Note From Dr. Neubeck
We have now entered the last month of school and this year, especially this spring, has flown by for many of us. Last Wednesday was "Principal's Day" in Minnesota and I want to take this time to thank all of our principals for their leadership and great work with students, staff and families. Thank you Dr. Durnen, Mr. Rodemeyer, Mr. Swanson, Ms. Schroeder and Ms. Braun.
This upcoming week is "Teacher Appreciation Week." The Byron Community is so fortunate to have such hardworking people who care so much for our students and families. I encourage our families and communities to reach out and thank a teacher this week. Our teachers are terrific people who are taking care of our children every day and helping those children dream and realize their potential. Teachers deal with something different every day and find ways to keep students interested and excited about learning...which is no easy feat. Byron Public Schools is a great place for students to learn and grow because of our teachers. THANK YOU teachers for all that you do each and every day! You are appreciated!
Go Bears!

The Profile of a Graduate is the model we use to live out the District's Strategic Plan on a daily basis. It has been 6 years since we first implemented the Profile of a Graduate and we continue to find ways to teach the six Cs: Creativity, Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Citizenship, and Character.

Check that fire pit out… Mitchel did a great job planning out his cuts and bending each piece to a perfect degree. After getting it all set up we decided that he might need to take a hair (18”) off the top. Look at how proud he is (right).
