Counselor's Corner:
I hope your January is off to a great start! Here are some parenting events & classes coming up in the next few months:
1.) Building A Bridge To Better Behavior

My school counseling website has lots of family resources, too. Wishing you a wonderful month!
From Mrs. Dessert:
Dear Families,
Dallas Harris will be participating in Jump Rope For Heart starting February 18th during their PE classes!
Kids Heart Challenge starts soon, and we are proud to support the American Heart Association through this service-learning program. Students will learn how to have happy and healthy hearts and brains, while raising lifesaving donations to help others with special hearts. Plus, your family can learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR through Finn’s Mission! Sign Up TODAY at http://www2.heart.org/goto/DallasHarrisElementaryID or by downloading the FREE AHA Schools App for Apple or Android.
Meet heart survivor Finn and hear how completing Finn’s Mission gives hope to everyone, everywhere. Let’s save lives together! Thank you for being a Heart Hero!
Recess at Dallas Harris
At Dallas Harris, we believe students benefit from outside play. We hope to send students outside each day unless the weather is unsafe. Please send your chid to school with the appropriate clothing to spend a short amount of time outside. Thank you!

Dallas Harris PTO
"PTO" stands for Parent Teacher Organization and this is our corner of the Yote Note to communicate with YOU! Below is a link to our website where you can read our meeting minutes, preview past and upcoming events, sign up to volunteer with us and more. Our main purpose is to work alongside school staff to provide enrichment opportunities to the Dallas Harris school community. The PTO works hard all year long to raise funds through both individual donations and special fundraising events so we can provide funding to teacher classrooms, library, art and music programs, help pay for field trips and field trip transportation, and support our amazing school staff when possible. Your donations qualify for the Idaho Education Tax Credit. GO YOTES!

Cell Phone Policy
Dallas Harris is asking that students do not have phones out on school grounds before, during or after school. Students are allowed to keep their cell phones in their backpacks during the day. If SMART watches interfere with learning or are used during the day for calls, they will need to be kept in backpacks as well. for your support on this issue.
