I hope everyone had a great weekend! It was wonderful seeing so many of our families at the Spring Fling on Friday night. Thank you to our PTA for pulling off another amazing community event!

Early Release Day

This Friday is an early release day and students will dismiss two hours early, at 12:15 p.m.

EOG Testing Dates

Please mark your calendars for the following EOG testing dates:

5th grade Science EOG - Friday, May 24th

3-5 Grade Reading EOG - Wednesday, May 29th

3-5 Grade Math EOG - Friday, May 31st

A Note About the Book Fair

The fair will take place from Monday Thursday from 7:15-3:00 and on Friday from 7:15-12:00. It will close on Friday at 12:00, so please keep that in mind when planning your shopping. Parents are welcome to come anytime during those hours. Please check the Easley homepage and Bloomz for info online gift cards you can set up for students and other needed information.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT TAX WILL BE CHARGED ON PURCHASES FROM THIS BOOK FAIR AND ALL BOOK FAIRS MOVING FORWARD. Students are not used to needing to have extra funds to account for tax, so please have a conversation with your children.

Thanks to all who joined us for Spring Fling! It was a great night and we enjoyed seeing so many families at the book fair and playing bingo!

This Week is Teacher Appreciation Week: May 6th-10th

PTA has planned a week of celebration to let our amazing Easley teachers know how much we value them!

See the below graphic for how you can help in addition to meals and treats being provided on Monday, Wednesday and Friday by the PTA. This information should have also come home with your child via a flyer on Friday.

A teacher appreciation packet will be coming home with your child. Postcards from the packet will be collected in the car line on Wednesday and Thursday.

Finally, if you volunteered to donate a gift basket, please drop it by the front office by Friday morning.

Easley Night Out In: Nuvotaco on May 15th

Back by popular demand—Nuvotaco is partnering with PTA on a takeout fundraiser. Easley families are eligible to purchase a “quick pack” meal with additional add-ons as desired. Families can pick up their meals at either Easley or Aldersgate between 5 and 6 pm on May 15th. Orders must be placed by noon on May 14th – and a pickup location must be specified when ordering. Please use this link to order. NuvoTaco will donate $7.50 to the PTA for each “quick pack” ordered. Our past experience is that each order has a lot of food and has generally lasted most families more than a single meal.
