- Higher Orbits - Go For Launch is back! Students in grades 8-12 (going into the fall of 2024) can participate. The event will take place at LSSU on July 23, 24, and 25. Registrants are required to participate in all three days. See more information and the registration link on the Event Webpage. Parents/guardians can register students HERE. There is a $20 registration fee and aside from that all program costs are covered.

Professional Learning in Computer Science and Data Science
AI for Educators Innovate. Transform. Thrive. AI in Education
This workshop series aims to explore the impact of AI on education, student learning, and educator's daily life. Over 2-3 days of in-person learning, participants will delve into various AI topics, from handling difficult situations to fostering creativity and streamlining content creation. Each session will follow the EIPM (Explore, Investigate, Practice, and Make) model, offering background information, future studies, and practical resources. By the end of the workshop, attendees will gain familiarity with resources that can enhance their roles in education on a day-to-day basis.

Code.org AP CSA, AP CS Principles, & CS Discoveries - CS Workshops for High School & Middle School
The workshop is a nine-day professional learning series in Summer 2024, spanning five consecutive days in the summer and four days virtually during the school year. It supports new-to-CS and veteran CS teachers with the tools to implement MS & HS courses.

Meaningful Math & Computer Science Integration for High School & Middle School
This five day workshop series will equip educators with the ability to implement module based math lessons that capitalize on the modern digital tools that computer science offers to support effective and efficient teaching and learning. Check out either of these workshops whether you are a math, CS, or other mainstream content educator.

This three day workshop series will equip educators with a fundamental computer science curriculum, connections to physical computing, and laying the groundwork to integrate computer science into core curriculum.
