Absences, Late Arrivals, Early Pickups and End-of-the-Day Pickups
If your child(ren) will be gone or late, you MUST call the attendance line: 952-758-1405 (24/7, before 8:00 a.m. on the day that they will be gone) or main office line: 952-758-1400 (after 8:00 a.m.) or have your child bring a note to the office in the morning before or on the day you will be gone. If your child will be leaving early, have them bring a note to the office first thing in the morning to get a pass.
If your child is ill during the school day, please have them go to the nurse's office. The nurse will call home, if needed. Please remember that students should not be using their phones during the school day, unless a staff member knows about and has okayed it.
Thank you for your cooperation!
Notes from Mr. Gregor and Mr. Bell
Dear Families,
Happy New Year and we hope everyone had a relaxing break. It's hard to believe that the first semester will end on January 16. Finishing the first semester strong is a shared goal, and we’re here to support your student(s) every step of the way. Here are some key strategies to help your student(s) thrive:
Reflect on Progress: Encourage your child to review their accomplishments and identify areas for growth. Celebrating successes and setting achievable goals fosters a growth mindset.
Stay Organized: With exams and assignments on the horizon, maintaining an updated planner or calendar can help students stay on track and reduce stress.
Communicate: Open lines of communication with teachers ensure any questions or challenges are addressed promptly. We’re here to partner with you!
Practice Self-Care: Remind your child of the importance of balanced routines, including sleep, nutrition and downtime to recharge their energy.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about the opportunities that await in the second semester. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community. Your support makes all the difference in fostering an environment where students can thrive. Here’s to finishing the semester strong and looking forward to even greater successes in the months ahead!
