Please remember that the Library is a good place to relax and cool off during these hot summer days. We’re happy to host you, and we’ll even suggest a book to read while you’re here.

We’ve wrapped up our Summer Learning Initiative events, but you still have until August 13th to claim your prizes or submit your drawing tickets. Finish your reading or your projects soon! We’ll draw prize tickets and start contacting the winners during the middle of the month.

Be aware that we have a couple of days that the Library will be Closed in the next few weeks. We’ll be closed Thursday, August 18, for Staff Day; Monday, September 5, for Labor Day; and Thursday, September 8, for the Colorado Association of Libraries Conference.

While you’re wrapping up your summers, we’re busy preparing our fall class and event schedule. Storytime continues year-round, but look for the return of Book Club, Writers Group, and Family Game Nights in September, along with some new events we’re excited to offer to all of you.

We are fully open to the public! Come on in to see us 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-4pm (closed from 12-1pm for lunch and cleaning) on Saturdays.

Curbside hours are constant every day, Monday through Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. Please email us at curbside.bcld@gmail.com or give us a call and let us know what we can gather for you. We'll arrange a time to pick up for contactless delivery.

The Library will be closed on August 18th for a Staff Development Day.

August 13th is the last day to collect treasure box prizes and to turn in tickets for the summer drawings.

Winners will be notified by August 20th.

Thank you to all our summer learning participants! After two years of uncertainty, you came back strong! We can't wait to see you next Summer. In the meantime keep and eye out for our Fall, Winter, and Spring events!

Summer programming is at an end, but storytime will continue to be offered Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Ask about signing up for sensory storytime on Saturday afternoons at 4 p.m.

The staff looks forward to supporting you, so be sure to get your very own library card as you begin a new school year.

With your own Library card you can use a computer and check out any books or movies, for fun or for research! Along with having access to all of our online resources.

Sunshine Storytime will continue all throughout the summer!

Join us for story time in the community room at the library on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30am. These story times are open to kiddos of all ages! On Fridays, you can usually find our therapy dog Shelby. She loves having stories read to her.

Our monthly Knit & Crochet Drop-in will meet on Friday the 26th of August

from 1-4PM.

This is not a class, just a place for fellow crafters to meet and knit/crochet together. This is a drop-in event.
